Manipur is one of the prime tourist destinations of India. Manipur’s natural beauty is praised in ornamental terms by many well-known personalities in history. Some have called it ‘jewel of India’; some generously bestowed it the title ‘Switzerland of the East’; almost everyone agree it is a little paradise so long as natural beauty and picturesque sites are concerned. Experts observed that this area rich in biodiversity. The existence of the rich variety of flora and fauna, the green lush forests, the beautiful ranges of hills, the tiny hamlets, the impressive open fields, the matchless Loktak Lake with its rich reservoir of fresh water and the list will go on when one sets to describe the natural beauty of this place. The pleasant climatic condition and the clean pollution-free environment are the major attraction of tourists to Manipuris.

Reservation of accommodation in advance (before 15th November 2007) is recommended. Delegates interested in booking accommodation send their requests along with a duly filled registration form along and an advance payment of Rs. 500/- for per person for Indian Participants and US$ 100 for international delegates as a registration fees for International delegates not later than 15th November 2007 (No refund please).

The international delegates should contact organizers well in advance (before 17th November 2007) to make their Manipur Entry Visa ready. It may be noted that Indian participants do not need Manipur entry Visa. The food and accommodation charges are included in the registration fees.
